About

HackingPC.com is a technical content site built for people who want to go deeper — past the marketing specs, past the beginner tutorials, into the actual mechanics of how computers work and how to make them work better.

What we cover

We publish in-depth guides across four areas:

  • PC Optimization — RAM overclocking, CPU tuning, driver management, benchmark methodology, and everything else that turns a stock build into a fast one.
  • Ethical Hacking — Kali Linux setup and tooling, CTF walkthroughs, penetration testing fundamentals, and career guidance for aspiring security professionals.
  • Privacy Tools — VPN selection and configuration, DNS-over-HTTPS, browser hardening, OpSec practices, and threat modelling for everyday users.
  • Hardware Builds — Component selection guides, build walkthroughs, upgrade recommendations, and value-focused reviews for every budget.

Our approach

Every guide on this site is written to be complete. We don't publish five-paragraph overviews that tell you to "just Google it" for the hard parts. We cover the prerequisites, the steps, the edge cases, and the things that go wrong — because that's what actually helps people.

We test what we write about. Configuration guides are verified on real hardware. Tool reviews are based on hands-on use. If something didn't work the way we expected, we say so.

How the site is funded

HackingPC.com is supported by display advertising and affiliate partnerships. Some links on this site are affiliate links — if you purchase through them, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never influences which products we recommend or how we rate them.
