Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 2, 2026

HackingPC.com participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that some links on this site are affiliate links — if you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer or service provider at no additional cost to you.

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions.

Affiliate programs we participate in

  • Amazon Associates — hardware, peripherals, books, and accessories
  • NordVPN / Surfshark / ExpressVPN — VPN service recommendations
  • Newegg / B&H Photo — PC components and hardware
  • Coursera / Udemy / TCM Security — online courses and certifications

This list may be updated as we add or remove affiliate partnerships.

How to identify affiliate links

Affiliate links on this site are labelled with a "View Deal" button in a highlighted box, or marked with an asterisk (*) in the text. The link's destination URL will typically contain a tracking parameter or redirect through an affiliate network.

Our editorial policy

Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial decisions. We do not accept payment to write positive reviews, alter our ratings, or recommend products we haven't used or wouldn't use ourselves.

If a product we'd otherwise recommend doesn't have an affiliate program, we link to it anyway. If we have a negative experience with a product that has an affiliate program, we say so in the review.

Our primary obligation is accuracy and usefulness to readers. Affiliate revenue supports the cost of running this site — it doesn't determine what we publish.
